'Tis the Season of the dreaded cold and snow. About a week ago, New Hampshire got hit with the first snow storm of the year and with that meant classes were canceled. Any other person would think it is a snow day for a reason, a day to relax at home and snuggle up indoors. But me, I was not going to waste a perfect day to go shred some fresh powder (aka go snowboarding). So I packed up my gear, loaded it into my Jeep (that would hopefully be able to get me there safely), and was on my way. I ended up at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. Since it was their first week of the season, only about a fourth of the mountain was open and the best part, there was no one and I mean no one was there. Basically had the whole place to myself. If you are from an area where it snows I would 1000% recommend learning how to ether ski or snowboard. It is such a fun way to stay active during the colder winter months, and surprisingly will leave you quite sore the following days after.
