Favorite Makeup Items & Brands

Welcome back. This week I would like to talk about some of my favorite makeup items and brands. I'm not one who wears a lot of makeup but when I do, I like to go for a natural look. I will list the links to the products I use. Here they are:

• Moisturizer - I use Olay Face Lotion for Sensitive Skin. This moisturizer was recommended by my dermatologist which is how I started using it. I have used it for a few years now and it does the job well.
• Foundation - I like a good full coverage foundation that evens out my skin tones and hides the natural red tones in my face. I use the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation. This foundation is a little pricey but it has a lot of beneficial characteristics. This foundation has SPF 15 as well as Vitamin E, and mineral pigments that smooth and soften skin. 
• Bronzer - I use a bronzer to add some color to my face. I like to contour my check bones, nose, and forehead. Butter Bronzer is my favorite. It is also a physicians formula, so it is good for the skin. 
• Blush - I also use blush from Butter Bronzer, which I will link down below. 
• Setting Powder - I use Maybelline Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder. This is a setting powder you can pick up at any drug store, it is super affordable and works wonders. 

These products I use religiously when I do my makeup. I don't often wear mascara or eyeshadow. This is because I get eyelash extensions and they last longer when you don't put makeup on your eyes. However, a good mascara brand I have used before is the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara works great and is inexpensive. For someone who does not wear eyeshadow often, I love the Naked 2 Basics Pallet. It is a mini pallet of natural brown and tan tones. It is perfect for when you do like to spice up your look.
